I figure pesticides just can't be a good thing for our children and pets, especially on lawns where they play. It is worth the effort to explore safer options; talk to your local nursery for garden alternatives for your area. Control of common household pests will also vary by region. Call or check internet sources for your state or city governments, and even local universities. The Humane Society will often have both standard and green suggestions for things like flea and tick control. Not all alternatives are safer, so choose carefully.</description>
